Nah they didn't become anything, the author was busy with the main story involving you know who at that point. So they really didn't get much exposure(well except Sylphy I guess), but he is doing so in the side stories like Jobless Oblige(which is from Zeke-Rudeuses son's persepctive) redundancy and so on.

But yea the last vol definitely felt rushed although the ending itself was good. That fight and vol should've happened way later on so it could feel more fluid. That way maybe he wouldn't have to keep writting the side stories and kept the juicy sol parts in the main.
