A part of me is hopeful for a new movie but another part of me is worried about the franchise's state.

I don't know, when a series gets discontinued it doesn't bother me I mean franchises that I followed back then were all discontinued and it didn't faze me. With Nanoha's state I don't know what to think.

I guess it was the series that made me get Megami Magazines and a few Figmas.

If Seven Arcs want to move to the next step at least they should give us a proper ending. Give us the last movie and the second season of Vivid (if the latter's news about it is true then it's good and yes, I like both the manga and anime).

I don't mind the new series and chances are I might like too but it didn't completed the circle.

I'll wait for Vivid Strike and hope for the 3rd movie and Vivid Season 2.

The original premise was one and then two magical girls against a group of enemies, with high tech magical weaponry. It was cool, the characters were good the story was decent.

And then came StrikerS which kicked the formula with tons of asspulls, a fuckload of new characters.

ViVid shifted the focus to too many new characters again, Force introduced uninteresting leads and both turned the previous protagonists into supporting characters.

The movies showed why Nanoha was awesome again and then came the ViVid anime, which sucked.

StrikerS made Nanoha sick, ViVid and Force sent it into coma and the ViVid anime killed it.

Nanoha as a franchise is fucking dead. It's a pity though.
