What is the best demographic genre and why is it seinen?

Because the 4 demographics are indicating what type of magazine they are from. With shoujo and shounen magazines being more popular but have less creative freedom than seinen and josei and vice versa.

anime are released in a tv format and thus doesn't really care about that.

Shows for little kids are the best. Once the target demo is in the double-digits, it starts to go downhill from there. Anime is at it's best when it's simple, cute, and fun.
