I really like the Iyashikei aspect of the third season. But it's really understandable why the original fans hate it.

It was not bad, quite excellent I admit. But...different from what it the first 2 seasons built.

yuru yuri fans are almost all degenerate weebs who self-inserted as the girls and they're basically complaining because the show doesn't make them feel as fuzzy as it did when it first aired 5 years ago.

The comedy was lost.

What was once a fun series that almost always made me laugh became slow, boring and predictable.

Three seasons of hinted yuri that leads nowhere. Do you really wonder why people hate this kind of shit, where authors keep on pandering without taking ANY risk, ever?

YrYr is not really a series for that. It's not trying to be romantic in any way and the yuri undertones aren't meant to go anywhere.

I feel you though, there are tons of other series that should actually have tried to do something, like Saki or Symphogear.

The third season was the most balanced compared to S1 Kyouko hijacking the show and S2 forcing Sakurako into pretty much every scene for no reason other than being the popular meme girl of the show. S3 actually took the time to give some focus to all the girls and this also meant that it was less repetitive and a lot more fun to watch.

I dropped the third season because they removed Akarin~ and it wasn't fun anymore only yuri shit.

Not funny, formulaic, looks really cheap, characters rewritten to be worse in every way. Why do you like S3 so much then? It's not anything like Yuru Yuri should be.

That's probably the only good thing this adaptation did.

The only probably I have with this is the shit animation, QUALITY basically everywhere, and those shitty cliche moments "look at the sky, so peaceful." but beside this, that was a pretty much straightforward adaptation.
