The biggest problems of GX were the episodic nature of the second half and the forced daddy issues.

It had some of my favorite scenes from the whole series (space shuttle, Hibiki rescuing Miku, gay lolis fighting red doll, Radiant Force Ignite) but somehow the season as a whole manages to be disappointing. I think they could have done better with ignite modules, maybe making them the equivalent of cursed equipment in video games as in being actually dangerous to the user and the team (even if worn correctly) but still useful enough to consider using them, just being a "hard to control" powerup was a letdown.

Kaneko's dad died and it caused him to write the series and characters into the ground. Topdad is pretty much the antitheses of good, consistent writing. Anyone who disagrees is simply wrong, and this is coming from someone who loves Symphogear enough to have flown to Japan to got to the Live show.

I liked it, regardless.Topdad and everything related to him was shit. That stupidass scene in the ending was just, I dunno, I can't describe it. Its something that we didn't need to see. Not enough dolls, not enough GENOCIDE. Songs in GX are my favorites in the series, though.

When they killed off Garie that was when I first began to realize that they were making some mistakes. And then the mistakes just kept happening

My only real issues with GX is Hibiki staying out of the action for too long and some of the revisited character drama. Also the wubstep was unnecessary, and Carol should have sung Tomorrow at some point.

Everything else ranged from fine to great.
