I don't really like watching airing anime. There's millions of old shows that I can watch at my leisure that I'm far more interested in, and I don't feel anything "extra" from watching anime as it airs. I can't stand reading threads for airing shows, it's just 15-year olds overreacting and trying to make memes out of everything, whereas discussion of most older shows is much more cozy, because not nearly as many people have watched them.
I don't understand why people watch currently-airing shows
