The MC has an incurable disease and only has a year to live. His parents and the doctors decided not to tell him so that he'd live out his last year without being depressed, and they asked some kind-hearted cute girls to act like they love him to make it more enjoyable.
Plot twist: the MC knows, and is acting along.
Plot twist 2: the diagnosis was false positive.

The mc is an absolute gary stu (in the same way that shoujo manga's portray them) on the surface, but struggles with anxiety and depression and childhood abuse by his hairy uncle. This made it so that he has difficulty relating to other people. While living a superficial, boring and ordinary school life the protagonist suddenly gets spotted by a model agency recruiter who takes him in. It involves him developing from a socially retarded recluse into a more normal person, all the while struggling with his crippling depression and coping with the modelling business that almost pays nothing to newcomers and snotty 'competitors'. Meanwhile, he also has to struggle to live with his abusive mother who divorced from his father a couple of years ago.

thats all for my ideas. overall contains a little bit of comedy for trio shenanigans, but overall action and is dark because of warring state period and betrayals, as for the 6 countries specialties. one might have the best cavalry while the other has best footsman or archers or commanders or something. the trio's actions affect overall plot direction and tech advancement. probably one country has advance in naval warfare, while one advanced in land battle while one in guerilla tactics

A boy whose mind has been poisoned by harem manga enrolls in a school with an improbable male-to-female ratio such that harem-type relationship circles become expected.

Determined to get a harem of his own, checklist in hand, each episode follows his misadventures as he tries to get his own group of groupies.

He goes off in pursuit of an angry, flat-chested redhead. Unfortunately, when he bumps into her and gropes her, not only is she *not* angry, but she was slightly aroused by his boldness, and immediately skips to dere.
Cursing, he beats feet and tries to find another.

When he tries to convince a short, white-haired girl to be his token stoic loli, she rolls up her sleeves, puts on a commissar cap, whips out a wooden sword, knocks him on his ass, before kicking him in the gut and stomping off.

He tries to build his harem, but everyone is of the wrong archetype.

Other characters he tries to recruit include:
-sheltered large-breasted drill hair blonde ojou who as a result spills spaghetti constantly
-girl that everyone assumes is just being chuu2, but actually has a demon in her eye etc

Probably the favorite character, a yandere fujoshi who is intent on preserving the (assumed) homoerotic relationships of A-kun, one of the MC's male friends. As of a month in, the MC doesn't have a proper harem, so the yandere assumes he was gay and so keeps trying to forcibly ship the MC with A-kun.

I had monster hunter and pokemon in mind when thinking of it.

MC is going to be intelligent though what with being legendary and all (though he'll also be a Dark Schneider/Laharl/Zenki style of dick)

MC is a middle school student aiming to get into a top arts high school via scholarship since his family is too poor to afford the expensive tuition. He spends his days working on his art and trying to win competitions to get in.

His art has helped attract three girls to him: a childhood friend, a tsundere class rep, and the school ojou. All the girls want to be his muse to help him get the scholarship, but their rivalry causes them to try and make themselves look better in the MC's eyes. However, a lot of their antics also have effects on the MC, making his life really stressed.

As the series progresses, the girls and their antics continue to increase in scale, resulting in injury, embarrassment, and molestation of the MC. The MC is too nice to really cut ties off with the girls, but the feud starts to interfere with his life and his work, threatening his chances of getting the scholarship. This culminates in the girls accidentally destroying his work during an art show, costing him the scholarship and his dream and sending him into a depression and causing the girls to find a way to make things right.

Basically, it's a harem set up, but shows that most of the harem antics in these series could lead to physical and emotional stress for the MC.

A shoujo harem, where the MC girl sees a club at school called "The Gentleman's club." She joins the club expecting a bunch of classy, handsome men. She does get a bunch of handsome, fujo-bait characters, except the club is actually for discussing fetishes and porn. She's basically forced to be with hot handsome perverts who use her to discuss their fetishes. Every episode is dedicated to different fetishes and fanservice.

Well here's mine:

A 30 yr old waitress, Nakomi Satomi, finds a injured 11 yr old boy unconscious near a swollen river bank and brings him to her home with her roommates to recover. The boy awakes with no memory of who he is or where he comes from so the women of the house take him in. The house is a old hot spring resort house that was closed down years ago.

There are a total of seven women in the house and six of the women work at a Hostess restaurant called "CAKES". CAKES is a hostess restaurant whose motif is voluptuous single women over 27 dressed in somewhat breast revealing maid or waitress outfits.

While the anime is a bit of a harem anime, its mostly a story about how the boy named Keitaro, by the women, deals with his new life and helps the women deal with their personal problems, so it has a lot of slice of life properties but with some emotional drama as we discover why each of the women have become a christmas cake.

It was once tradition for people to create sky lanterns, sending their prayers along up towards the heavens and hoping their messages would be answered. An app available for augmented reality devices renovates this ancient tradition: personal handwritten requests are now contained in virtual sky lanterns, publicly released into the night sky.

People carrying AR devices, such as contact lenses, smartphones or glasses, can see these messages under the viewing options. The plot follows two individuals encountering each other in a city, competing to answer these sky lanterns.

One of the individuals is a young woman volunteering for the recognition. She desires to improve her karma profile, a popular online trend designed to record altruistic actions. The second character is a heartbroken young man answering the sky lanterns to cope with separation.

Discovering these motives fosters concern. The young woman sees the young man answering the sky lanterns as an excuse to neglect the losses he suffered. The young man sees the young woman as a lonely person using the sky lanterns in hopes of find meaning in her vacant life.

As the two characters work together for certain requests, they begin to understand each other, eventually leading them to answer one another’s sky lantern request: helping the young man accept separation and finding a purpose in life for the young woman.

MCs name in Yonni. He just graduated college and moved to a new town to start his job as a Salary man. He got good grades and landed a good job in a beautiful new city but he is still. One night he is drowning his emotions in booze when a man with messy hair in a leather jacket taps him on the shoulder. He is surprised to see that it is his best childhood friend Paki who moved away when they were 16. They were completely different growing up. Yonni was a shy, nerdy virgin while Paki was a big ladies man who was barley passing his classes.

They get out of the bar and go for walk back to Paki's place. They spend the tight talking and catching up. Paki tells him that he's gay and that having meaning sex with loads of girls as a teen was his way of suppressing those feelings. Yonni is very accepting and tells him he's glad he told him.

After a few meet ups Yonni starts to think about how he have never had a gf or done anything more than kiss a girl. He thinks it over and decides that telling Paki he's also gay may be his only chance at ever having a romantic relationship.

The next time they meet up he tells Paki that he's gay and that always kinda had romantic feelings for him but would never tell him because he didn't want to freak him out. Paki confesses he felt the same way. They have sex that night and Yonni looses his virginity. They begin a relationship. Yonni feels guilty for lying to his best friend but is happy at the same time. Eventually Yonni starts getting friendly with a 10/10 female coworker Shishi. She confesses likes him and they fuck in a storage closest. He tries to juggle both relationship for a while but the more time he spends with Shishi the more wrong being with Paki feels. He eventually breaks things off with Paki by telling him he doesn't want to ruin their friendship.

Eventually Paki sees Yonni with Sishi. It leads to a huge shit storm with Paki and Sishi finding out what Yonni did. In the end Yonni ends up all alone again.

In a world where one's life-worth is determined by predestined "frequencies",MC is a low-born that attempts to change his fate by starting a relationship with The Girl, a high born savant.

The two walk home together.MC discovers with Suzuka that sound waves,when combined with gibberish 2-syllable words,are able to temporarily raise one's frequency.They create a phone device which,based on the atmosphere,is able to determine which words can raise one's frequency.

However, MC and The Girl discover that the words actually have mind controlling properties which caused their love. A government organization detains MC and his associates, revealing that this phenomenon had been known throughout history and was slowly forgotten. Unable to contact Suzuka, MC uses the words to paralyze his captors and escape.

He escapes to Suzuka's house,where Suzuka's father reveals that music,specifically that of Chicago,was able to balance everyone's frequencies and nullify the mind controlling power of words.Suzuka is able to calculate an equation based on music and discover that fate exists.He is able to predict the future and the destinies of others.MC and The Girl realize their love was caused by fate not choice.Finding this romantic,the two hold hands while Suzuka watches and realizes he can take over the world!
