I was actually going to rewatch this in a day or two. I remember watching this when I was like twelve on Techtv or something and loving it.

It was Toonami, RoD TV was on Anime Unleashed on TechTv.

Ms. Deep was alright, but Yomiko was the real hotness there.

This. I found TechTv anime right when this first showed up on it, and I think that's the only show I actually watched on it. I downloaded the ova much later.

ROD was the birth of 21st century anime style in my opinion. It would never look the same. For better or worse. But since Yomiko was part of that I say it was worth it.
