Goddamnit, now I just wanna see them escape from the new delusion.
delusion, anon? it's beyond your control anyway and you're not aware of it existing in the first place
Homura's world is *the* world
>>145087190
She said it herself.
Can't keep it up the facade forever.
Sequel bait I swear.
>>145087306
well it's Studio Shaft after all
>>145087306
She can't keep the facade forever. Doesn't mean they can escape.
>>145087372
I'd still rather see them fail than see nothing at all.
I want to see them all realize it's a delusion, and spend a whole series powering up and finding out a way to defeat Homura, just for Homura to clap them all back into being clueless just after remarking on how it took them longer to get to that point than the last time they tried.
>>145087766
I thought I had already seen the face of the douchiest of douche-nozzles.
>>145087059
So you're wishing for Madoka to be alone, Sayaka and Homura to be dead and for Kyouko and Mami to be left behind alone.
>>145087858
It's a cruel reality but reality nontheless and what Madoka wanted.
A world with salvation for witches and whatnot.
Besides, didn't they establish in the movie that redeemed/dead witches join the redemption force?
Homura's just being a bitch.
>>145088040
Salvation for witches still exists, presumbably.
>>145088371
True.
But now inside an universe wide witch's labyrinth. Kinda defeats the purpose.
I'll be glad if they actually do a sequel to finish the situation up and for more tunes like this one.

>>145088557
Why does it defeat the purpose? Hard to tell the specifics of Homura's new world at this point, but I imagine being a magical girl works pretty much the same as before, since LoC is intact.
A sequel is already in the works, anon.
What did I miss?
>>145088627
>A sequel is already in the works, anon.
Sweet
What I mean is there's still one witch left to redeem.
I mean she calls herself a demon and so on, but that's what she boils down to ultimately.
The strongest witch capable of defying the "law of cycles" and the most trusted confidant of the one who set that law.
I can appreciate the biblical parallels, but that's exactly why the situation needs a more elaborate finish.
It's more of a set up for future events than an ending.
>>145087059
How old is Homura?
>>145087059
I'm pretty sure they can if they give Mami the power to defeat Homura.
>>145088829
>It's more of a set up for future events than an ending.
I agree completely with this. The ending doesn't feel satisfactory at all. However, I don't think what Homura did in Rebellion was pointless at all. The point of Madoka's wish was to rescue magical girls from the fate of being a witch. I don't see how Homura being some witch-like entity changes anything, except for maybe Homura herself.
>>145088849
She started looping when she was 14, so that's how old her body looks. Since she's looped for roughly 8 years, you could argue that she's about 22 years old mentally.
>>145088849
She's 14 biologically but she went through a 100 timeloops lasting one month each. Do the math.
>>145089047
It's still not that much.
>>145089032
I liked the movie as well don't get me wrong.
>>145088952
The very best.
>>145089047
My dick is 14 biologically if you know what I mean.
>>145087059
>delusion
Are you talking about the fanbase?
>>145089421
I wouldn't know.
I marathoned the whole series just now.
>>145089047
>>145089032
Is there any source for that 100 loops / 8 years time?
>>145090028

>Q: How many timelines did Homura go through?
>A: Approaching 100.
>>145090083
Thanks
>>145091544
Might as well let the thread die.
All I wanted to know was if a sequel was being made.
>>145089032
>>145087059
Next movie when???
>>145092092
there are at least 2 literally whos related to this post
>>145089032
I absolutely hate every bit of the plot in all Madoka, but I absolutely love the artstyle. If it was for me, they can go on as much as they want with terrible endings just to have more eyecandy.
>>145093192
Yes, 2 threads.
>>145093370
You ok?
>>145095451
Yup, perfectly. Sane and rational. Unlike you.
>>145092472
>only stuck for 12 years
I thought it was more.
>>145092472
>26year old living under false pretense as a teenager harboring an unhealthy obsession with a teenage girl
As if Homura wasn't already creepy enbough
>>145097857
She is technically still a teenager.
