"main character" really is a vague term, which is why I rather dislike using it, it's not set in stone that there has to be a single one when you say "main character", you could argue that both Yuki and Yuno were the main characters, but what is most commonly mean with main character is "the protagonist", whic almost indisputably is Yuki, he was the one who took the active role, the story was told from his perspective, he was ultimately the one who progressed the story, the point could be made that mirai nikki was a case study of Yuno, like Haruhi in the Suzumia Haruhi series, or Charles Foster Kane in Citizen Kane, told from the perspective of the people studying the individual, but Yuki would still be the protagonist, just as Kyon was in the Haruhi series or the newspaperman in Citizen Kane.

What he says completely contradicts what he does throughout the entire series.

He bitches and cries but then goes on to do badass shit like murder people with darts and run through minefields like it's nothing. All his actions are that of an alpha male.

No, it's just that everyone who was interesting or could have been interesting was relegated to a sideline.

The entire Goldilocks team existed to get wrekked, then retconned.

Anything intriguing or curious was discarded within another episode. It really felt like someone was writing it week by week and was constantly and incompetently trying to wrest control of the narrative towards an ill defined goal.

Also, President Blanc and his cute daughter were the only saving grace of the show. If they spent less time faffing about, we could have actually had a decent companion to the original story. It's a really bad sign when a bunch of upset Anons write better fan fiction than the proper writers.
