The goblin story is a sad and tragic one, but there is hope.

I'm glad they didn't portray GS as anything more than a madman. A necessary madman, but his speech shows that it's a little more grey than "hurr goblins are evil".

Goblins aren't evil. They're just dicks and compete with humans as a species, so conflict is inevitable. There's nothing wrong with what GS does, as he's human, but at least they don't claim some kind of ethical high ground.

If not for the rape during the first episode no one would be talking about this generic manga.
