Angel Beats was never good.
All his series were poor attempts at creating something that wasn't even half as natural as Haruhi.
Rewrite needs to be rewritten by someone competent badly.

I thought the premise was good, many of the characters were likable, I liked the music (I guess this is a bit controversial). I didn't like that the Haruhi-like girl was so irrelevant, and the ending was lackluster. I also can't stand the standard Maeda Jun filler episodes and some of his tropes.
