He's an excellent MC. Most are just hating because they think he's a little too beta.
What the hell is this, chinese Robot Chicken?
He's a whiny fucking baby who throws tantrums until he gets his way.
You realize a villain can be a terrible person and still be a great character, right? Subaru is not a villain (yet), but just because he's unlikable/stupid, does not mean he's a bad character. Characters are meant to reflect real people, and there are people just like Subaru in real life.
Bad character means a character that is inconsistent, boring or just poorly written in general.
So how much of a force to be reconed with is he currently in Arc 5?
I know he's able to use one or another authority and gets training in the useage of a whip and parkour but how capeable is he actually?
I know some people might think it's trolling to say Subaru is the best MC of the decade, but I sincerely believe he's up there among the best of MCs.
Ironically enough, the people whom have a problem with Subaru are the people who probably share more in common with him than anyone else, as you have to have an over inflated view of yourself (Just like Subaru) to not be able to realize that his actions aren't that far from how any person in his situation would act.
>gonna buy some cheapest Subaru figure
>and some really nice one of Emilia and Rem
>will burn his figure in front of both girls on stream for /a/
Subaru is a piece of shit.
But that's exactly why he's such a good character.
He isn't some omnipotent self-insert that can't do anything wrong.
He gets jealous.
He gets frustrated.
He gets angry.
He gets traumatized.
Everything that's happened to him turned him into the utter fuckhole we see today.
Subaru a shit, but I see why.
> I haven't watched the episode, where he actually tried to "see the future" and going the exact same route as before but failed
Also, like the others said it's not some fixed mechanic. Satela would probably notice him abusing such a loophole
