Too much angst surrounding Manato's death. Other than that it was alright.

It was actually pretty refreshing, even though the pacing could have been better.

I also have a huge hard-on for that kind of background art, whatever you call it. Looks like watercolors or whatever.

The studio seemed more focused on selling copies of their insert songs than actually writing a compelling script to fill in all of those montage scenes.

Also, the budget issues near the ending didn't help. Grimgar seriously had a good idea behind it but the execution was all off.
