The animation has been better and the current arc is entertaining. I started watching again at episode 47, skipping the other episodes.

If you watched it, you would know, that Black is actually much more than just evil counterpart to Goku. He is even really sympathetic villain.

I haven't actually watched any of Super except the first movie with Beerus, but I've followed the general story progression (or what passes for it) by skimming the threads as they've popped up.

The animation is still terrible, but Future Trunks is back, which is pretty much the reason I decided to start watching, since he was always my favorite character from Z. So far the story line seems interesting enough so I'm giving it a chance.

I am going to be honest, this arc seems like it's going to reuse the same formula over and over.
Goku is going to be the same retard that is going to help the villain get a powerup while Trunks screams in frustration.
Toei is making Vegeta a salty dramatic manlet because Black dared to touch the future version of his wife 'because Vegeta really loves Bulma and they have sex every night and they are so perfect together' fanfiction shit, just to job against Black while Trunks screams in horror.
And it doesn't help that we are getting filler that is supposed to be emotional but in the end it ends in nothing, Gohan and Trunks ended talking about fucking ice cream while Trunks cried internally. And the same shit is going to happen in the next episode. 18 is going to rub in Trunks' face how happy is her life while the two of them express how uncomfortable with each other, just like with Gohan. Also Toei is going to make 18 the perfect housewife that really loves her husband and her 9 years old girl that behaves and looks like a toddler.
