Naegi excels in the 'Killing Game', where it's a small group of people in a relatively closed space being forced to mistrust and kill each other, who were at least familiar. His speech probably can't convince thousands of people, but it can convince few people.

Munakata deals with "Tragedy", where it's a world-wide devastation brought by mindless pawns led by very few powerful peons, under Junko. He can't get through to the pawns with words, and he can only deal with the scale of destruction with power, just like all the other FF. They were not in the job for 'convincing', but 'subduing'.

This is why Naegi saves the Remnants, because his experience is that an isolated small group can bring great connections. To Munakata, this is preposterous.

Can someone explain to me the order of events? So this episode Naegi says he met Izuru and the Remnants of Despair somewhere. But we also them fighting with FF in the beginning of the anime. Then in SDR2, the RoD CAME to Naegi?? to put them under sleep. Why? And that Izuru/Naegi scene too.

What happened first? Naegi discovered them, they fled, they had scuffles with FF. Then they came to Naegi and had an agreement. Or they had scuffles with FF, they couldn't catch them, Naegi bumped into Izuru and he convinced them and the other Despairs to partake in his project.

Given the kind of execution she got, she might not have died quick enough and survived once the simulation was over. Since she embraced despair she probably wouldn't have been cured.

Both DR1 and DR2 ends in trials, where the remaining survivors talk to each other, reveal secrets about the Killing Game (or NWP in DR2's case), discover the mastermind (the "Junko"), forced to face hopelessness, and come up ahead through some words of encouragement by the MC.

How will DR3-Future end? I can't even see them gathering together, they were so suspicious of each other. There's no 'evidence' yet gathered except by Kirigiri who'll probably have to do all the pointing mostly on her own.
