A bit cerebral at times, and plenty of wartime strategy with the dog race, but you can enjoy it just as much if you let your mind wander. If you follow closely you will be exhausted but fortunately there are bits of fanservice and comedy intermissions for breaks.

I only watch anime after it's released on bluray. Then keep it if its good or donate it to the library. That way I am getting the highest quality unedited experience you can. The fact that some people here watch it as it is airing at a much lower quality with rushed unfinished animation sequences, poor captured video and at a violation of licensing arrangements (Jap market only) is no concern of mine. I just feel bad they are getting a less than optimal experience.
