I for one, can't wait to have this series over, too much disappointment from Kubo just absolutely overdoing it in all the wrong ways. he jobs everyone. he doesn't reveal anything despite how much he edges himself to let it all out over our faces (which wouldn't be bad if he didn't just disappointingly leak it out instead of exploding all over us like we want it to be). the story just pulled a bunch of shit to make itself work (there was never a need to do the Quincy stuff since the whole point of them was that they were almost extinct, I don't understand why he felt like they should be the grand finale of everything instead of some Vasto Lordes who even Aizen couldn't get to submit to him [I'm sure there were some out there]). There's a side-character in Hatsukoi Zombie that has a hairstyle close to that of pre-timeskip Rukia, and it's throwing me off quite wildly. They share some other traits too. The character of her attraction is a bit like Ichigo as well, and their story is similar in some ways. And the series includes ghosts and busting them, so to speak. I know that the human brain is keen on seeing imaginary patterns like this, but it doesn't really help my autism. It'd be pretty funny if it was an intentional thing, a mangaka covertly shipping characters of another mangaka.

Ikkaku had been training with bankai years before he used it in battle.
Renji had been training to obtain it for some time before he appeared in the manga, and then the first time he used it in battle, Byakuya specifically mentioned he needed a lot more training, and it took him two years before he could use it in his proper form, with training from the man who NAMED bankai.
The first time Rukia used bankai in battle, she nearly killed herself.
Kenpachi's bankai put him as literally the strongest physical fighter in the entire manga, but because he had ZERO training with it, and only had shikai for a sum total of two days, it broke him.
If Kenpachi had even a week to train with bankai, he'd easily surpass Yamamoto in terms of physical destructive capability (when not considering that Yama kills the environment around him as a side effect)

Honestly I feel it'd be best of Kubo went back to the drawing board for a few years and then released a Bleach reboot in novel form with his own Illustrations. I've always thought Bleach might work better as a series of novels, perhaps five in all. This way he can really get into stuff like

I'm hoping the hollows get a satisfying resolution. Hallibel is a great character and gives insight into Espada and Hollows not all being complete psychopaths. Grimmjow is an interesting character who despite being at odds with Ichigo continues to help him. And the hollows role should be explained better in relation to the Soul King and the Quincy.

Seems entirely out of character for Aizen to EVER admit a weakness, even one as obscure and difficult to utilize as "Be touching my sword before I start fucking with you".

We might a good ending for this arc, depending on how Kubo handles the Soul King story. Bleach is still selling well and it's value as a franchise is definitely strong. Bleach will live on in some way or another, be it sequels, spin-offs gaidens or what not. Jump wants money and will probably not let it go until they squeezed everything out of it. Unless Kubo is tired of the series, which I doubt.
