terrible b8, please apply yourself
It was okay. The twist was pretty cool. The rest of it kind of felt like a worse version of Lain.
Better than Millennium Actress, but not as good as Paprika.

What a great analysis. There's really nothing I can add to that, you explained your reasoning so well. Such a great way to make a thread, good job.
6/10? its like, a 9.99/10 minimum. anything less and you're just dumb

>6/10

This is why I hate summer.

I literaly can't find any major flaw in this movie and I think it's Kon's masterpiece. I don't see why one would rate it so low, even if we apply "taste is subjective" thing. I don't like to rate anithing in a 0-to-10 scale but I can say Perfect Blue is 10/10
>6/10
And what would consider to be a 7 may I ask?

>hey guys I'm a contrarian faggot
Congrats.
Another "psychological" anime that the "smart but lazy" type of teenagers watch because they think it makes them intelligent. New flash, us real film connoisseurs from the art board /tv/ are laughing every time you call this a masterpiece.

What didn't you like about it OP?
I really enjoyed it. I liked the clash between what the otaku expected the idol to be, and the idols reality.
Tokyo Godfather is my favorite Satoshi movie.
