Unfortunately you need to be japanese and very lucky.

You could instead write a YA novel with a "strong" female protagonist and maybe get lucky enough to have a hollywood franchise made out of it.

Anyone have experience with amazon's self publishing? Is it easy to get into? Is there a standard for entry? Can you make a living off it?

"Guild Master" is the worst anime episode I remember watching in a very long time, and I've seen Knights of Ramunes
