>fifteen hours of work
>seven hours of sleep
>one hour for commute
>literally only on hour in the day left

Does anybody in this company even have a life anymore? How do you find the time to do stuff if you are literally working from 8 AM to like 11 PM? Who the hell is happy like this? Nobody likes "muh geimu" that much, unless they are true soulless freaks. How are they even cute anymore? Do they have really strong minds or are they just so weak-minded that they don't care? Or both? Or neither?

I don't get these inbred island freaks, but man, I wanna stick my penis in Aoba's friend.

Welcome to the Japanese workplace. The reason only one person in the household tends to work is because the work day is and has been crazy long, and that's why you never see the parents in some anime because they're just both gone all day for work. They're happy because they're aware that this is just what it's like and they can't do anything about it.
>>
It's idealized moe stuff anon. It can't be helped. Real devs are slaves that look like meth addicts.

She goes to work at 9 am one day and her boss mentions that she is there early. The day she wakes up late (almost 9 am), she almost gets to work on time so with an hour commute it seems like her normal work hours are about 10 am till evening. A typical 9 hour work day (including a 1 hour lunch/dinner) would have her going home at 7 pm, so staying a few extra hours to get shit done doesn't seem too crazy.

I don't mind working 15 hours a day if it's doing something I love.

Even though I was exhausted and had no breaks to eat through all those hours, when I got home I wasn't even hungry and couldn't sleep, it fucks you up that much. I just sat down and stared into space until I dozed off for around 3 hourst, then had to be up for another round. Lost 5kgs in that time.

From what I've been told they spend that much time at work doing analysis, reports or non relevant tasks and redo them a couple of times to make sure everything is right. They could finish their day of work in less than 8 hours, but stay so late because of their global mindset that work and your enterprise comes first.

They all hate each other, more so because they were all fairly distinct for most of their history. China was the big guy and rarely touchable. Even if the kingdoms changed hands their population would just breed out invaders. Korea was hidden away by natural borders from China (mountains and valleys) and Japan (sea). And Japan was a long boat ride away from anyone.

What you get is three culturally opposed people who have like 90% of the same genetic lineage. You might even call it sibling bickering but with a lot of incestual rape and genocide. Like a doujin.

Foot binding was a tradition though, in fact invasions, in-fighting, and drugs were all Chinese traditions. Communism actively tried to uproot societal values.

Next I suppose you'll tell me Christian Europe didn't have a history of in-fighting even though literally everyone recognizes that their history was filled with in-fighting.

And trying to dismiss stuff by saying it was bad or stupid doesn't change the fact that Communism uprooted traditions and radically altered the culture super fucking purposefully. You're being a retard, stop.

I don't think you understand the implications of having a massive land empire before electric communication. Even during the solid blocks of X Dynasty you see on Wikipedia's History of China timeline there were literally multiple rebellions every decade, let alone the interregnums. It's such a deep part of the culture that there's even a saying which can be translated as "every man wants to be Emperor".
>>
>>144545071
It's nothing like Shirobako. It's more like K-On! or Mangirl, even.

Wat. Are you actually retarded? I'm a fucking Chink by the way. Did the communist party get rid of many cultural aspects of normal everyday Chinese life? Yes. The demise of traditional culture in China isn't so much caused directly by the communist party as it is from people being too busy with competition to actually have a livable wage. In a way it's actually capitalistic values killing it.

They don't.

>How do you find the time to do stuff if you are literally working from 8 AM to like 11 PM?
You don't.

>Who the hell is happy like this?
Few people would be.

This is partly why the birth rate in Japan is so low. They are brainwashed with the idea that if you aren't giving your soul to the almighty company (indirectly the community at large) then you're worthless as a human being. Women don't want to be held back or be seen as unreliable because they have to take time off to care for babies or children.
>>
>>144559309
Companies that gain a reputation for expecting unreasonable levels of work from their employees. Things like mandated unpaid overtime and the like. Basically short-lived companies that flagrantly disobey labour laws for as long as they can get away with it, and then cut and run and restart under a different name before their owners can get prosecuted.

Abusing the gullibility of salarymen too afraid of losing the means of supporting their family to stand up for their rights or personal wellbeing.

You can't. Japanese language is not related to Chinese at all. Their writing system just came from China. Which isn't that special, most western languages also adopted the same symbols used by some other languages when they started writing things down.

I suppose some of them are probably bi or full on closet lesbians and living out their deep, dark fantasies with ink and paper, too.

But still, male yuri authors? It just seems wrong. It's like finding out your ecchi wish-fulfillment harem was written by a woman, or that the best girls' seiyuu's mother isn't a virgin.

It's more like Korea holds a huge grudge against Japan, and Japan doesn't really care about Korea except that theyre annoyed about Korea's attitude toward them

Korea also steals tons of Japanese (and Chinese) culture and claims it's their own and refuses to acknowledge the massovr contributions Japan gave to the Courtney - ie completely modernizing it from a backwards shithole and even forcing it's own language onto them instead of Chinese - while clinging to completely falsified war propaganda like Rape of Nanking to justify their irrational hate.

You can see why Japan would throw down a little bait but it wouldn't be accurate to say the two hate each other. Korea hates Japan, Japan just doesn't respect Korea and is annoyed at their hatred for them, otherwise they really don't give a fuck

You can't expect to be forgiven, if you never even accept that you did something wrong.

Germany managed to normalize its relationship with France, Israel and Poland by reflecting on its historical guilt, accepting responsibility to prevent it from happening again, and getting interwoven with its partners in the EU to factually make it very hard to do it again even if they wanted to.
Japan will keep having a hard time ever getting a normal relationship with its neighbours if things like Nanking-denial and the literal veneration of war criminals in shrines stays this popular.
>>
>>144563896
Japan doesn't take that to nearly the degree Korea does. It's more of a "look, we were victims in the war, too" thing, and I think you'd struggle to find an example of the Japanese government trying to use it to exhort shit from America, who they mostly defer to without trouble. On the other hand, Korea uses the war as a tool to hold basic civil Japanese-Korean relations hostage until they get all the reparations and concessions they want, and have only gotten more angry and insistent after Japan has consistently refused to even play that game.

A couple backwards fucks in your county denying war crimes is no reason to hold basic diplomacy hostage. And as for the shrines venerating war criminals thing, Yasukuni shrine is Japan's designated military cemetary shrine, it is devoted to the souls of everyone who ever served in the Military. While they did explicitly inter the souls of war criminals alomg with many, many others, in Shinto sould can't be disinterred or desanctified from a shrine, it's not like a body you can just dig up and move, all the souls of the dead are permanently intermixed and bound to the shrine. Regardless of whether it was a bad idea to inter their souls there in the first place, the fact is that the connection of those individuals to the shrine is irreversable, and a few malevolent individuals are not enough to merit not honoring all of Japan's war dead at their designated national site of devotion. It's like getting pissed off at the president for visiting Arington because you don't like a few of the people buried there.

The group responsible for nazisim are the nazis. They don't exist anymore, so holding all germans responsible 70 years later for the actions of one political ideology that wasn't even unique to them is completely, unjustifiably absurd. No person alive today is a part of the 'group" responsible for nazisim, unless you want to stretch "group" to the point where you could claim the brown lady behind the counter at Tim Horton's jointly responsible for Nice because she's muslim.

Your definition of "group responsibility" is one that enables systematic discrimination on entire groups of unrelated people based entirely on perceived notions of continuity and interrelation that you project onto them. You can hold any large demographic of people responsible for the actions of a minority you claim is representative of them if you're sufficiently bigoted, which, since you advocate the joint responsibility of an entire nation and the lineage of its citizens in perpetuity, you likely are.

>The group responsible for nazisim are the nazis. They don't exist anymore
However, the entity responsible for the actions of the German state is the German state, which consists of its constituents, the German citizens. The very same state still exists today, with German citizens collectively still being responsible for it.

>to the point where you could claim the brown lady behind the counter at Tim Horton's jointly responsible for Nice because she's muslim.
I do think that if that woman explicitly or implicitly confirms herself to be part of a group, which has parts which committed a transgression, and is an accepted part of that group, that the group as a whole becomes responsible for the transgression.
However, this collective responsibility doesn't imply individual responsibility. The responsibility stays, in this case, on the level of the Muslim community as a whole, or, in the German case, on the level of the political unit: the German state.

>You can hold any large demographic of people responsible for the actions of a minority you claim is representative of them-
I'd limit this to groups that matter to the people themselves.
>>
>>144564573
Obviously because they lost the war. The British and Russian committed far worse war crimes than Germany but no one country that wins a war is going to be held accountable for it. All that happened with WW2 is the propaganda for the enemy countries stuck around and entered textbooks, while the propaganda those countries had against the winning countries were swept under the rug.

It's the fault of our historians, though, that they separate the truth from the fiction and exaggerated truth and instead just went along with absurdities like lampshades made of human skin and killing of more jews than ever existed in germany while just ignoring actual genocide like the slaughter of 10 million white christians by the Bolsheviks

I'd go as far as to say Today's German State has little relation to the German State that once housed the Nazi's in their senate beyond the fact that they occupy similar territorial boundaries. Germany as it existed in WW2 effectively ceased to exist when its capital was occupied and its sovereignty annexed by the USSR. Calling them the same state is like calling Rome and Italy the same civilization.

Plus the idea that a people, collectively, from now and expending endlessly into the future, will forever be held responsible for the actions of their government is a big problem in and of itself. This is precisely the argument used to justify targeting non-combatants in terrorist attacks. After all, if you're a US citizen, then you share "responsibility as part of a national continuity" for the 1st Gulf War, and are an entirely justifiable military target for retaliation, right?
>>
>>144567483
The whole notion of victors writing blabla is silly, because a few decades later the truth always comes out just because it is impossible to hide big conspiracies, because the preferences on the victors' side change, and there are always a lot of parties that are either not involved or are on the victors' side, but have to fight about the truth with others on the victors' site.

It was true at one time, when writing history involved a few privileged elite from privileged elite families in a privileged elite caste dictating history as their absolute monarch proclaimed. It's just not tenable in modern democratic societies, though, because a state isn't a monolothic entity capable of dictating one view of the world as absolute truth. Democracy is defined by contention between multiple contrary views of the world, and that involves history as well.

Except history has shown that's not true. US still occupies Japan and controls Germany's media policy. Nanking has been thoroughly debunked but that inconvenient truth is simply ignored. The Holocaust legally can't even be investigated, despite the official narrative changing numerous times over the years, and even when it's gone down from 6 to 1.2 million, the public still continues to operate on the old war propaganda figure. And Britain's mass bombing of civilians, the Bolshevik genocide, the Ukrainian genocide still remain outside of history textbooks.

I would advise you read up on what happened between the end of WW2 and the 1980's. Germany became something very different during that time. The idea that a state can be utterly dismantled and then reformed into something new and yet be the same as it was before is absurd. These are human constructs, not perfect mathematical objects, 1/2 + 1/2 is not 1 in this case.

You do realize that that is a self-evidently absurd construction that was imposed on Germany for the sake of maintaining culpability to extract reparations, yes? They have as much political continuity with each other as the PRC does to nationalist China, or the USSR does to the Russian Empire.

I think the idea is something along the lines of that the state never was dismantled, but simply a change of government happened. As I've said, I'm a layman, so I cannot go into detail, but you'll probably find plenty of resources about it from academic sources, if you're interested.

Staying in a place that benefits you to stay is not confirmation of the status quo, it is pragmatism.

You clearly have no understanding of what the word "responsibility" means. A German citizen today may very well be the descendant of those who resisted the nazis. By your logic, not only is that citizen, who I will remind you was born /after/ these actions, guilty, but also that the people working against the nazi's are also responsible for what the nazi's did. Do you not see the problem here?

Second, define "possible". Are you implying that every German citizen is in a financial position that allows them to relocate outside their country, where they do not enjoy the benefits of citizenship, and may not even speak the language?

If you are just baiting, then consider yourself victor, but if you genuinely believe this, I implore you to reconsider why you think the things you do.

If you want the benefits from that place, you have to accept the obligations, too. You can't just demand health services, security and voting rights without even in principle accepting to pay taxes.

Yes, I had taken that into consideration and don't find that to be a problem to the extent that this demands to deny this principle. In fact, I would even hold those who suffered under the regime and their descendants responsible.
Further note that I expressly differentiated between responsibility and guilt. Guilt requires the additional component of individual blameworthiness.

> Are you implying that every German citizen is in a financial position that allows them to relocate outside their country, where they do not enjoy the benefits of citizenship, and may not even speak the language?
No, I'm not, which is why I phrased it in that way in the first place.
I would hold those that would merely suffer from inconveniences like not speaking the language or having to give up the vast majority of their wealth responsible. I wasn't sure about citizenship.

4 hours of sleep is fine and dandy for like a month, but after about year, it really fucks with your head. I would not recommend it, I now get enough sleep. Getting enough sleep has:

1.almost gotten rid of my anxiety
2.got rid of pretty much all of my depression not related to any real world problems
3.made me focused and more productive
4.made me less irritable

One hour of a day after a good night sleep is worth like three hours of a day after an all nighter, anon. Eat your vegetables, get some exercise, and get enough sleep. I'm not joking you will go crazy if you get deprived of sleep for too long, it has happened to me. I mean I really thought I was mentally ill, it was a terrifying year and I actually thought I was going die every day.

In the first 2 episodes they're "working" like, anime kind of working.

The 3rd one is real life working.

I've only done it once but here's how it went:
>Split the video on individual image frames with ffmpeg
>Batch convert them on photoshop using the content-aware filter (takes a lot of time. Hours easily)
>Merge the frames together again with ffmpeg
Either he has some neat script that eases the process or a lot of free time.

I literally experienced that shit before. Just decide to replace my sick colleague.

6 hours of sleep
2 hours travelling to the workplace and back.
15 hours of work
1 hour for shower, eating, fedora tipping and other social stuff.
7 days per week.
Around 1,5 month.

It's pretty fun as a challenge, but in the end i feels myself like a living dead, empty human shell etc.

Anon, your post makes me happy. Not because what you say is true or correct, but simply because you used proper subject-verb agreement with the word "none," which almost literally NO ONE ever does.
>>
>>144573057

What? Explain.

The word "none" is a contraction of the expression "not one," so his sentence reads "not one of the statements... etc." The subject is "one (of the) statements." ONE. Singular. Singular form of is is is.

Nah, it looks like it can refer to "not any" or "not one" depending on the context. This anon, clearly, was referring to "not any of the statements," making him correct.

Or, wait, I mean he was referring to "not one," so he was correct, but if he did say "none of the statements are," then he would be correct also.>>144573296

I wonder, do part-timers do 8 hours?
>>
>>144573959
Legally cannot, or they're classified as full-time and the company is required by law to pay them full time wages and provide full-timer benefits
>>
>>144573959
They work part-time in two or three different jobs, totaling 15 hours a day
>>
>>144554446
You really want to try surviving making less money than a burger flipper at McDonalds? No matter how much you love your work, reality has this bad habit of wearing down people into nothing.

>>144555353
The cost of raising a child is prohibitively expensive. In the U.S. alone the cost of raising a child from inception till they're eighteen is a couple million, not factoring in college. And that was from a study conducted over the most recent two decades. Assuming wages remain stagnate for the majority of people while inflation continues to climb, it's looking to get a lot worse. Japan even has competition to get the few available daycare spots there are, you really think they have it any better?

>>144573524
What's sad is they do this while they're off the clock or when they're no even a member anymore, private contractors, and still go to bat for them. It just gives justification for the locals to hate you and causes you to expend unnecessary resources to settle or make it go away. If the politicians in charge were actually serious about getting shit together they would of made an example of some of them for disgracing the uniform they supposedly care about. Just lends further credence to that notion that if they could have robots capable of fighting their wars, they replace every soldier in a heartbeat.
>>
>>144574092
Unless they're outsourced from a job agency, in which case they're only responsible for paying them and don't have to provide benefits of any kind. The agency gets that honor, but it's usually a pittance.

I've worked wageslave shifts as long as 12 hours before, so yes? Where I live the minimum weekly hour requirement to be considered "full time" is 28, so you could technically work 3 8-hour shifts per week and still be considered part-time here.

Oh you mean the country that already helped build up Japan to be an economic superpower since WW2 ended?

Or are you talking about the country that has military bases in Japan, thus discouraging anyone from messing with the island?

They really can't exhort anything else, since there's nothing else they can ask for.

But her work schedule seems OK to me.
Wake at 8 am, go to work at 10 am, work ends at 8 pm.

She's stays over time which is more likely she will adequately compensated.
Comfortable job in good company with stable income and nice colleagues and cute boss.

What do you do for living anon?
I live in 3rd world country, and work as a physician.
I used to work shifts of 4-5 days, sometimes I don't even sleep.
But then have the rest 2-3 days off.
I get paid around 7000$ / year, overworked, stressful environment.
