Its indeed really slow and may not hook you till some episodes in, but once you got the hang of it, you probably gonna marathon it just to see hows gonna end

Texhnolyze is a challenging show, it dosen't care if you like it or not but is a good experience. The ending crushed my soul and had to recover for some days

It was rather underwhelming, I thought that there will be plenty of themes explored to depth with really huge surreal undertones and rather cryptic delivery, but it was all really straightforward and mostly clear.

It wasn't really thought provoking for me, the best parts were on the surface for sure, but even with some actually likeable characters it was rather big dissapointment in the end.

I actually just started watching this yesterday since I can't enjoy literally any positive shows/content due to my recent depression.

It's just really dark, brooding and depressing and I kind of like that. Keep in mind I tried it a year ago before and I thought the first episode was the edgiest shit.

I enjoy the lack exposition and letting the visuals do the talking, since so many anime are all too eager to feed their audience information. They never let any imagery or character actions speak for themselves without explanation.

But motherfucker I've got to draw the line somewhere, and apparently it was Texhnolyze. By the time it got close to hooking me, I was eleven episodes in and it was too little too late. I was continuing to watch out of intrigue for when I was going to be intrigued, and that ain't the way I can live my life.

I wanted to drop this shit by episode 3 but I gave it a full 12. It did nothing to convince me to keep watching it even as I gave it every chance in the world. I'm all for something that's slow paced, but you have to do SOMETHING.
