It was my finals week. I didn't have an exam that day so I stayed home. Naruto had just ended and I was looking for something to replace it, and by chance I found Black Clover.

Yeah it wasn't original and the early translations were pure aids, but the art was decent and I liked the overall premise.

imho, the quality of the series increased quite a bit starting at chapter 23.
