I can understand non-adapted stuff but the whole primarily adapted only stuff is really stupid. This is especially true when an adaptation covers at least 10% of a LN and shows how that mod despite his position doesn't know what he's talking about. I think the issue with Haganai is that Kodaka and the trap had the least amount of romantic development and chemistry of ANYONE in the harem and there was nothing that really led to thinking he would pick her, so it was really just the author pulling a girl winning out of her ass. Especially since the volumes beforehand were hinting hard at him picking either Yozora or Sena.

I guarantee no one would have had an issue if Sena, Yozora or Rika won since all 3 of them had proper build up for it. Rather, there wouldn't have been as much of an uproar, there still would have been some asspained people.
