It had some surprisingly good action scenes, despite being 3DCGPD, and the plot was pretty interesting. The only problem was that it got zero love from fansubbers. There's an OVA out that's been out for a while now, and still no subs for it in English.

This show was the sole thing keeping me moderately optimistic for Berserk.

It's slightly choppy looking, but it grew on me.

Watch the TV series it has more scenes from the first movie and it covers beyond the movie. It's fully subbed by three groups too.

Well if you watch the trailer for the third movie which will be in S2 he seems to have scenes not in the manga
