You can use Big in Japan's shipping calc as an estimation. They put it at 5900 EMS to the USA, and Amiko's shipping is usually about the same.
So yeah, the discount at Amiko's nice, but the shipping price will cancel it out, and has the potential to be even higher.

GSC sucks at packaging—there's none, really, they just put it in the box and send it on its way, with maybe a piece of packing paper somewhere. The figure's box will likely end up a bit dinged, but unless you're really unlucky it shouldn't be terrible.

I wish they weren't just starting with the entire Bats family, so boring. Though I'm more of a Marvel fan so pretty biased.
