Δ企画時は三角関係はFでやり尽くしたから外す話も出た。

I don't see any similiarities at all. SDF we follow Hikaru's completely onesided infatuation with Minmay. She on the other hand thinks of him only as a friend. It's like this throughout the show up until the original intended finale of it, at 27, where they say goodbye to each other (this equivalent of this is DYRL in the movie, which is its definite ending) The show is then lengthened, and we essentially have Minmay confused into thinking she loves Minmay so acts as a homewrecker for 9 episodes and Hikaru devolving into inconsiderate douche thanks to her showing apparent interest in him for the first time in forever.

In delta we have a destined meeting, leading to a strong bond mutual bond formed between Hayate and Freyja. They love being together, they play off of each other and inspire each other. They make a powerful team. Their relationship is presumptionless. They just want to protect each other help each other and aid each other. And last episode I would argue we saw this bloom into mutual love between them, even if neither has confessed yet.

Episode 16 hints that Mirage chose to be a pilot out of her own will but her moping around for 16 episodes about how she feels inferior and shit only conveys emotional weakness to me. As a mirage fan, i have no problems for HayaFrej end. I wont put my blames on frejyafags but on the writer instead. It has been 16 episodes with Mirage's character still underdeveloped. Most of the time you realize mirage's role and conversations are about her concerning about others and nothing for herself. She worries more about others than herself.

And since she was made an introvert character, she often stays away unless there is an occasion for her to hang around. She is often quiet, when something bad happens to her she hides those feelings deep down her heart unless she approaches Hayate if he is around.
