GoHand is better at combat choreography. The difference between GoHand and Ufotable is that GoHand has its own "style" that is present in lot of thigns - camera work, how cuts are done,how swift movement is portrayed, how sword smears are done etc etc. Its "stylish".

Not the anon you replied to, but God Eater's animation was worse than UBW's due to the studio having no production break after the exhausting run of UBW's second half. Even Kunihiro's scenes weren't so hot in God Eater. Episode 3's action was pretty good but that was due to Takashi Suhara doing a good job as episode director. The animation itself was a bit rough.

This episode is already starting to show it's difference from the game.

Alisha is not confused about Sorey's family. Looks like Ufotable really is trying to change/improve the story from the game.
