If by Saku you mean Sakura I can tell you for certain that her losing would not have had nearly the impact as Kosaki losing. Naruto is simply a much more popular series so the vocal minority has a much larger population relative to Nisekoi's.

Sakura was a disappointing character throughout the series. Expecting her to win was at best a last ditch effort to improve her story arc but it was never going to fix the damage Kishi had already done.

Kosaki on the other hand is a very sweet girl who's easily likable. If I was rooting for her I'd be quite upset right now.

Well, that was disappointing. It was up to a really promising start but once they left first year, it devolved into a largely episodic mess that couldn't move past the status quo. It would've been nice if Raku confessed to Onodera way earlier and it turned into how Chitoge wins Raku from Onodera.

Really too bad. Nisekoi's the first rom-com I got excited for since Love Hina but it couldn't even cut half-way through LH's quality.

People need to realize that the girls were only used as story filler. The only girls that mattered were Chitoge and Onodera, with even Onodera being a plot contrived "speed bump" for Raku and Chitoge's relationship.

One of the biggest failures of this manga is that the author failed to even hint that someone other than Chitoge or Onodera had a chance. It made the other girls' presence in the story feel empty and unneeded, which help make the story be as safe and vanilla as possible.

The whole harem aspect of the story could have easily been cut out. Doing so would make a more condense and, possibly, satisfying story since the author had to focus more on relationship building. The manga would have been easily been a 100 or so chapters lighter.

Then once she changed her mind Chitoge just shoehorned her way into everything and RUINS EVERYTHING. She honestly fit better in the series being angry and abusive all the time. The bit that gets me is that she's done this NOT ONCE BUT TWICE! She already lost once before! SHE DOESN'T FUCKING DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE; AND THEN that infuriating shit she pulls at the end by running away to redirect attention on her while Raku is legit trying to decide on his feeling is such dramaqueen bullshit which is the completely accurate summary of her as a character. Anyone who is happy about this ending is a special kind of sperglord.
