Having read the manga, I think its not a great story but also not so overly horrible that it deserves the bashing it sometimes gets.

The prota even with his martial artists skill is honestly rather weak and you wont see him fight and win alot in the beginning, which in my eyes is a plus actually.

Also it feels sometime like there is a lot of stuff missing in the story.

One good thing is that a more important character died and didnt get revived until now and hope it stays like that.
