Well, you have to search in Japanese for the most part, but most of mine are from 2 Japanese kigurumi sites. Either or, I put all the one's I have up for download so you can have those if you like. I think the HaCha cures look the best, as a team of costumed heroines. Their base forms in particular have a great sense of cohesion with their vests wings and purses but subtle yet distinct differences in the colors sleeves and skirts, and most importantly still look really good. Their form changes are all very pretty as well, though much more unique. Their ultimate forms are complete garbage though.

The Freshes would be my second favorite but mostly just from the hips down.

I gave this series a try as I wanted to post with this fan base but holy Christ guys this anime is bad. I'm usually able to find something good in every anime I watch but I felt like I destroyed ten years of brain cells even watching a couple episodes. I honestly don't get this fan base. There's literally nothing good about this anime. Even some of the worst gamba sea have something great they can hold on to like for instance the Fate fan base. Yea they're annoying and everywhere but at least they have Prisma Illya and Carnival Phantasm. Then you have Eva fans who are just as bad but they have EOE which is respected in anime terms and we can even go to the bottom of the barrel with Naruro fans. At the very least the first season was respectable and some of the fights have great animation and little things here and there and etc with all the major anime fan bases but Precure literally has nothing. Just the basic predictable anime with girls that have the personalities of background characters. What I'm saying is I'm able to find something good in almost any anime I've watched and yet this one for the size of its fanbase honestly shocked me because of how bad it was. I tried soo hard to find something to hold on to but anything this anime does I can find another that does it better.

HaCha was good for me. I loved the character designs and the form changes, other than the stupid magical toilet form which looked like shit. I think HaChas biggest downfall was not using enough precards and doing cute stuff with them, also trying to sell the drama too much instead of just cheesing it up. Overall though, pretty cute. It wasn't knpk though.

I'm pretty sure /a/ doesn't hate HaCha, even though there's plenty of hate for Blue and the sudden MC shift. Other than that, I'm actually surprised how little hate there is for the cures themselves and its ridiculous handling of its arcs. If Doki didn't exist, I wonder if it would be the poster child for missed potential instead.

Also, the action is over-the-top fun. I'm probably one of few who thought the costume changes (and their finishers) were ass, though.

Form changes were weird. All the Precards were just for goofing off and used okay in the first half before disappearing (literally), but the CG dances were only there for fun. In GoPri the changes were used liberally and there were tons of out of stock attacks with them as compared to less than I can count on one hand for Hacha. They've gone a step farther with Maho but only have one form per episode. The biggest issue is making Diamond so crap.

I guess it all depends on what you think the point of multiple attacks, finishers and forms is, since it's pretty clear you can just Marble Screw all year if you want.

But I think attacks add dynamism to the fights, finishers (should) give a sense of progression, and forms should show different aspects of their character. Of course, if you don't do any of those things elsewhere, there's not much point.

As much as I said that, I actually agree with you, the action as a whole is kind of meh. But rather say it was straight awful, I think it's important to acknowledge that Lovely's mecha attacks and Princess's damedame technique were both still kind of fun.

The inconsistency in tone is probably what bothers me the most. Like Megumi's mecha stuff is kinda-sorta-barely justifiable through her being a Precure fangirl (though then I'd expect attacks like Heart/Lovely, not giant robots) but her being all brutal is ridiculous.
