I've only played Pet Shop once but I did have a good time. I fucking hate playing against N'Doul though. Christ.

I'm having a great time with the game though. It's silly and the characters feel like they work like they should which is really nice. I love dropping down sheer heart attack and then running off to go punch someone in the face.

I just watched the new OP a few minutes ago.
What's with the new OP? Thus far, all OPs have had something catchy to them, even the least popular ones like STAND PROUD felt something fitting for JoJo.
However, the newest one (Chase, I believe). whilst not a bad song by any means, feels like your generic second/third OP for any other anime.

Whilst this shouldn't affect the show in any way, it does lower the standard JoJo had for good OPs and EDs. It was already odd nothing having an OP with that cool CGI they used for Parts 1-3, but the previous opening was good enough. This one feels unnecessary and forgettable.

Basically this. Diavolo sees 10 seconds into the future and the only way to change that future is to erase time. The results from what would have happened in that time remain except for those that affect Diavolo himself, so if Diavolo would have been shot in erased time he'll be perfectly fine but if anyone else is shot then that result will remain even though the time it happened in no longer exists. So to everyone but Diavolo it's like teleporting instantly.

To be honest if they did it'd look jarring as fuck. And while the differences are subtle, they're definitely there. Along with the sleeker build, Diego's The World has a different clock design and different arm and leg armor.

So dudes, I've been wondering.

In terms of continuity for the anime, would you rather it remain accurate to the manga, or would you prefer that Araki's forgotten/rewritten plotlines be A.) phased out or B.) expanded?

For example, when Stone Ocean gets animated, there's going to be a part when Emporio predicts the future, and gives Jolyne some kind of weird, sharp bone that never ever comes into play after that moment. It's clear that the implication was that this was Emporio's second time through this timeline, and he knew what was coming and desperately wanted to stop it. But Araki either forgot to expand on that plotline, or decided he didn't like it, and when Emporio did get launched into the next timeline, he never did anything like what happened our first time through.

My question is will this feel strange in the anime to you? In the manga, I excuse it, because the story is written on the fly over the course of several years and things get dropped in that huge span of time as the story takes a clearer shape, but I feel like it would feel weird for the anime, since it's going to begin and end within the span of a year or so.

3D openings aren't that much more expensive than 2D ones, it's just that the company they outsource it to is doing their own major project and aren't doing stuff for third parties at the moment so David are either making them themselves or getting someone else to do them. Since they're not CG they probably couldn't find someone who did it to the same standard as the old ones so they went with 2D to avoid it looking like shit. Stuff like Kira's New Life kind of has to be split like that since it's two chapters bookending the RPS Kid fight and same for That's Not My Dad since it's only 2 chapters. Arguably BtD and CDiU too since there's no direct cutoff point and it sort of just melds together so it'd come down more to where it makes sense to end it rather than at the arbitrary cut off point for those arcs. Agree on the rest though.

Stardust Crusaders has a third half that is hard to touch. Everything after they get to Egypt is fucking awesome. That said Jonathan and Dio's conflict was more compelling than anything in part 3 even though part 3 is arguably the better part overall.
