So I tried making Souma's mackerel burger today.

My advice is to get the right bread crumbs. The one in my pantry was a shit-tier grainy brand called Cento and I had trouble molding the patties. Get the softer, light-colored bread crumbs from Asian stores. You don't need 1.5 cups either, 1 cup would do. I really should have chopped the onions finer but it was an unusually juicy one and my eyes were streaming by the time I finished. This is why you put your leftover onions in the fridge.

Still it turned out okay and was tasty. I didn't bother with the grated daikon because I hadn't any. Scallions will have to do.
