The only way Madoka and Homura can "defeat" him is to quit playing his game. He is only really the enemy to Madoka and Homura, a dick to the other girls but not really an enemy, and mostly a benefactor to the rest of the human race/universe. He's more uselful to the universe than either of them will ever be. Homura and Madoka need to just GTFO of the physical plane of existence, erase every trace of their existence, and go dual concept if they're ever going to "defeat" him. I'm not sure of the name since it's been a few months since i read it.
It's about a group of magical girls that figured out wtf he was doing, hijacked/reprogrammed a QB body to make it their slave, and then started kidnapping magical girls to shove into cold storage so that they wouldn't become witches right before it was too late.
During all of this a random police officer side character trying to investigate why there was such a large number of missing teenage girls and suspected his own sister that went missing long ago was a magical girl.
I probably like the officer too much but I really want to see him figure things out.
