There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding how Orihime's powers are failing, so I'll try to explain it. Basically it's not Orihime's powers that are at fault, but Yhwach's. Yhwach has made it so that Ichigo's sword is broken and remains broken in every possible future.

This. Apart from his banter with Urahara, Yoruichi, Renji, etc. he had a clear cut goal in mind: repay his life debt to Rukia. It also helped that the antagonist (Byakuya) was inherently tied to the execution and his motivations added another dimension to the rescue.

After SS though Ichigo only had "mamoru" on his mind and it's been that way ever since. All we get is the usual banter as Ichigo moves from one mentor/group to the next. And his enemies were harder to relate to/sympathize with. Grimmjow was just a brawler who liked to fight and Ulquiorra didn't understand humans. In the end it was just Ichigo and the Arrancar tussling instead of clashing their ideals.

Even if their personal abilities are all different, they still are based on the same principle. If your complaint goes toward their being dissimilar to each other, you could say the same about shinigami (kyoraku and ukitake's powers have nothing to do with each other) and quincy (as nodt and bazz b, for example).

People questioned this shit? Of course she could heal it. The reason that she couldn't do it two arcs ago and instead the RG had to do it, was because she was conveniently back in Mexico at the time.

Her ability is event rejection, its "Nope, that didn't happen", so the sword returns back to its proper form, and his powers maybe return with it. People have had high expectations of this ability for awhile, since its basically the ultimate plothax ability that they have to ignore is part of the story most of the time.

Even Juda admitted that Yamamoto might have been a danger if he made Orihime heal his arm, since she was the only one that could. But since he grew soft, Juda knew he wouldn't do it. Previous version of Yamato would have done anything to win.
