Due to shit happening post-CCC endings, at least its believed currently, Nero became King of Mooncell and gained the Regalia that gives her absolute control of the Mooncell. If you pick Nero route in Extella anyway.

If you pick Tamamo its basically the same story, except its Tamamo who took over Mooncell post-ending. From what we know so far.

Whichever one you pick, the other one comes trying to fight your shit, and also declaring themselves king with their own faction of servants. So you have to take the faction of your servants under your command and fight them.

Some parts of this aren't sure at the moment, but some parts of it are known. Take it with a grain of salt for now. All servants at the head of a faction have a Regalia.

Gilgamesh does not get deleted in the true ending, he just goes back to sleep. Hakuno in the true ending goes to live a normalfag life on Earth, so he's not really in the war of kings presently.

You say true ending spitefully in several ways, giving misinformation that everyone is deleted; true ending is just another possibility, but all endings are things that happened. Extella even more shows this to be the case. True ending is just the one where things get revealed.

A sequel to the true ending would have to be its own thing, on post-apocalypse Earth. Its easier to tell a continuation to Mooncell endings.

Void Shiki could only "fight defensively" against Servants until Nasu decided to up her powerlevel and even then CCC!Shiki and GO!Shiki apparently still need to get into stabbing range to do their shit. I'll grant you the Root, but technically Void Shiki isn't so much the Root as she is a disembodied consciousness that can tap into the Root-the same sort of existence BB was and which Kiara absorbed alongside all dem mother goddesses.

If a servant summons an ancient eldrich being, its not an eldrich being in the way they were in Eldrich stories, they're much smaller things.

Passionlip is a sad creature playing a child's game and there are plenty of things that can evade her sight or destroy her before she clenches her hands.

It's not clear why Amaterasu is so powerful or why BB didn't rope her into the alter-egos. She's not really stronger than the primordial mother goddess, either, who is basically an omnipotent reality warper. BB who devoured the mother goddess doesn't have the full power of the mother goddess, though, just the application of Potnia Theron, and only on imaginary spaces.

This time, they do it by summoning a bunch of dead Emperors who ally under Romulus and fund an opposing roman faction trying to conquer regular Rome. You join Nero in fighting them.

Consider that the pivotal point of the chapter you are asked to swallow is that "Romulus with guys like Julius Ceasar as aides would be a destructive force that would devastate history, and must be stopped" as opposed to letting Nero continue to rule. Did I mention the chapter opens with Roman mentioning how Nero will face an uprising and be executed some years after that time period? Because the writer straight up drops that on you and then goes on to write a whole chapter about you fighting to preserve her mandate as it being clearly the thing that leads history down the best path.

Then it's a bunch of pointless meandering until you meet Iskander, who is cooperating with the faction trying to devastate human history solely because he was curious and wanted to meet Nero. Also, Waver is willingly helping too, because Waver going fucking insane and abetting Iskander's stupidest fucking whims without opposition is kind of a repeating thing. Nero convinces Iskandar that she's fit to rule by beating him with your help, and then echoing his same brand of self-fellating endless-ambition tripe. I think the scene was meant to make you agree with them or something, in spite of the whole "This ends with you getting executed because it turns out that's not sensible state policy after all."

Then you meet Remulus, pull more or less the same shit and beat him too. Lacking any kind of fulfilling payoff, Attila the Hun is summoned as essentially a standard Final Boss with absolutely zero personality. you go beat her and then shit is over.

Nasu has literally never made mention of "primordial demons" (genshou no akuma) before or after that. They have no clear relationship with true demons (shinsei akuma).

Yes, this is for the best path in terms of history. Nero must rule, and do a shit job at it to basically ruin Rome, so that Rome can die off a bit later.

Essentially just did a terrible job of putting a theme where it doesn't really apply. You can easily have Boudica stay angry towards Rome, but not Nero. But you can also show Nero as a good Emperor but not universally liked, which is exactly what was established before.

Not who you're arguing with but that's normal. It's called pacing. If they did it any other way people would finish everything within a months and get bored. I'm not speculating either, this has happened in other games. There's going to be the same stuff in the musou game. You'll have to grind for those levels.

They've had events that almost expected even nips to wake up just to participate. That's ridiculous.

Well fuck that. I have better games to grind for stuff in. Even the stupid Darkmoon ring in DS3 wasn't that bad. I can't honestly think of anything more grindy than Fate/GO and it gives em no rewards. No satisfaction. It's very empty since I can just keep up with the events through reading summaries like everyone else. I still play it, but certainly not daily, and not every event. I don't even a single fully leveled team, because there is no incentive to do so. You don't even need to ascended Servants by very much for most fights, so there isn't even a a real challenge. The only challenge is how much time you have to spare, or how much money you're willing to give.

The character interactions are good, the art is usually pretty nice. The story is okay, but the game play just kills it for me.
