Can I be honest? I don't understand why so many people loved Joseph in Part 2.

It's not that I hated him as I quite liked the change from Jonathon. He was interesting to watch and the bullshit he could do with Ripple/Hamon/whatever you want to call it was cool but really exhausted its use.

Honestly, it's hard to explain, but I just didn't click with him as other animeonlys did (No, I'm not waiting on the anime anymore. I just finished the first half of Enigma Boy yesterday.) I much prefer him in Parts 3 and 4 over how he was in 2. He feels much better as a supporting character than as a main character. Maybe it's because he doesn't rely on asspulls as much, maybe it's because I love seeing how far he's come, I dunno.

Or maybe I just really love Part 4 so much more in comparison to everything else and it's starting to show me why I didn't like Part 2 as much as other people. I like it, but not as much as other animeonlys.

Not a bad start anon, but there's a lot of room for improvement. Your lines look very rough, like you were pressing hard on the paper when you made them. The first thing you want to do when you place your lines is to keep it loose; confident lines are good, but they should also be fluid. Each stroke should be placed with purpose and make a significant contribution to defining the form of the subject. Ideally, each edge should only require a single confident line. Going over the same line more than once is a sign of uncertainty, or a lack of solid construction and understanding of the form you're trying to depict. so how you guys enjoying the reaction from anime-onlys that you introduced this series too.

First friend i got is a DB fanboy and enjoyed all the animes so far. I suspect part 4 is probably the worst for him since it not as focused yet, and the best is yet to come.
Second friend kind of watch whenever the first does and has read all the general plot synopsis from wiki or some shit. Keeps spoiling shit when talking to me about it. Luckily most of my friends have bad memories.
Third hates the visual "sharp" (and in general for anime)looks of the series in addition to it looking extremely gay to him. This is the guy who just watches harems all the time. He knows he'll like it but cant get past that atm.

A friend of mine saw a couple of scenes on Youtube (I think the pigs head in the toilet with Polnareff) and really wanted to get into it, he asked me if we could watch some episodes and I said sure, he kept saying he wanted more till we marathoned all of Phantom Blood and a couple of episodes of Battle Tendency.

He really likes the gore and fight-scenes (got really pissed at Dio though, cheered when he thought he died and raged when he killed Jonathan) and adores Joseph so far. He shit on Speedwagon for being useless a lot too, to start with, but showed genuine alarm and horror when Straights seemingly killed him, and was very relieved when he saw he was alive.

Every time Dio was on-screen he'd say something about Danny, he really couldn't get over that part.

I appreciate the detail you went to with the shading, however you should try to keep the hatching within the guidelines you've drawn for the shadows if you're going to do it that way. Proportionally, those arms are completely dwarfing the torso; it'd definitely be worth your time to do some studies of human anatomy before your next attempt. The construction of the face is also off, particularly the cheekbones which are far too high. As suggested before, analyse the placement of your own cheekbones in a mirror and compare. Also as previously mentioned, try to stick to using one stroke for each edge; it will look much cleaner, and get you to more carefully consider why you're drawing each line and how it will contribute to the image. Keep it up, anon. Each drawing can teach you something that will help improve the next.

My animeonly friend is the friend who introduced me to the series. We watched up till part 3 and then I found the manga, he told me he didn't want to read it because he thought jojo should've ended at part 3.
Fast forward to the anime of part 4 and I managed to convince him to watch it with me. He's actually enjoying it so far but I suspect he didn't like the art style change, and he really doesn't like how Star Platinum looks. I'm hoping he'll be convinced during SHA that Jotaro was actually better in part 4 than he was in part 3. Also, he told me he thought Okuyasu was already the best brojo so far because of how he solved the Akira problem in the 2nd RHCP ep.

Then when the part 4 anime started she saw me watching the 1st episode and decided to tag along, she's COMPLETLEY in love with Josuke and was happy to see Yukako because she didn't think there were going to be any female characters in the series.
