Solid Vision with Mass was created by both Leo and Yusho. Solid Vision with Mass means that everything suddenly exists when the machine is used in the form of hard light -- magma will burn your flesh, cold mountains are chilly, jungles are humid, and monsters are real.

In the manga, Ren, EVE's disciple, states that Leo and Yusho both caused the World Illusion event. What that literally implies is that it was something that caused the whole world to be fooled by something that isn't even real.

What follows next is only speculation, but it's the only determining factor I have about how the anime will have a BAD END and the manga is new game plus. Why is it that Reiji, in the manga, "appears out of nowhere"? Why does Ren look so similar to Reiji? Where are Yusho and Leo? Why are Yuto, Yugo and Yuri destroying Yuya's memories? How does Reiji know Yuya would use G.O.D. to destroy the world?

Because in the anime, Yuya WILL use Genesis Omega Dragon to destroy the world. EGAO is being so forced on us right now to make us hate EGAO itself, but when Yuya will finally drop it, when he finally loses his shit, Yuya is going to destroy everything. Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri are going to wipe his memories so he can't remember what he did. They're going to wipe his memories so he can't find that card again and do what he's meant to do. And to keep the illusion up, Leo and Yusho are going to make Solid Vision counterparts of everyone to make the world seem alive, that nothing has changed, that everything is where it should be for Yuya, all while trying to find a way to bring the world back. And the whole Solid Vision system, the entire World Illusion, is being monitored by EVE and her disciples that look just like Reiji, while Reiji himself tries to capture Yuya himself, and lock him away so he can't cause any more harm.

Hitoshi Ni doesn't have a real personality other than mad, murderous rage, though, not much can be done with it before shit hits the fan other than teasing. Yuya's connection to his other selves in general has been a major part of the plot, Hitoshi Ni is just the darkest Yuya personality which doesn't have a corresponding dimension that we know of, they can't revel too much about him without revealing more about the nature of the dimensions and Leo's plan, which is the endgame.

I'm not completely sure. The DM Anime bored me to death after the Kaiba Tourtnament. GX low point was the second season but everything else was pretty much ok. Never saw 5DS or Zexal. Arc-V is still very enjoyable for me. I like the plot, characters and i think Yuya is one if not the most realistic character in the Franchise. Each Series has its own flaws so i can't say which one was better honeslty.

I don't know about realistic, but there's one thing I love about Yuya that many anons seem to hate, which is that he loses duels. The fact that he has been BTFO by Reiji, Jack and Barrett/Sergey makes his duels seem more dangerous, combined with the fact that Hitoshi Ni is a dick that gives Yuya no additional dueling proficiency, it makes for more exciting duels. Bakura's hatred for Atem stemmed from the fact that his village was murdered to make the Millennium Items and he rounded them all back up to make a contract with Zorc which resulted into Atem sealing his name to seal himself with Zorc away.
It also gave the origins of Duel Monsters as ka battles and showed the origins of Dark Magician and Blue-eyes White Dragon as Mahad killing himself to merge his ba and ka in order to serve Atem eternally and Blue-eyes is the soul of an outcasted girl who loved Priest Seto, the past incarnation of Kaiba. This relationship never went further since Kaz was sick but then again, this franchise never had developed relationships anyways.
Finally, the rivalry between Atem and Kaiba comes from the brainwashed Priest Seto fighting Atem and then receiving the crown but being dissatisfied with not properly winning it from Atem.
It did explain everything.

Imagine if it had really, truly fucked things up in Synchro, wreaking disaster on Shiti. And you know what, we should have been getting at least a few more details about Leo's grand keikaku by now. Assuming Hitotsu Ni and the Arc Area Project are connected, having it blow up in Sychro and invite some exposition from Leo would have been absolutely welcome. Egao in and of itself isn't problematic, it's the fact that it's being used to fix everything unproblematically makes for a boring storyline.

From a money making point of view, wouldn't Konami want as many kids watching as they can draw in? But the little we now of Arc-V's ratings imply viewers are cut down by about half from what Zexal managed.

Arc-V's janky animation keeping it from achieving a sense of spectacle a lot of the time, and the lackluster payoffs it manages for its set ups probably bores a lot of kids away from the show.

Maybe next time they'll be a lot less ambitious about the scope of the cast and story.

Other animes can't get away with it like YGO can simply because their sole motive and method of getting credibility is by being good animes. Kill la Kill didn't have a card game to support it. Code Geass didn't have large-scale physical merchandise to prop it up. And almost all lesser animes than those 2 didn't have any name recognition or established fan base nor profitable merch to prop it up. Thus YGO doesn't need good writing.

It is a problem in a visual medium. Yugioh has always had egregious QUALITY and ups and downs, but Arc-V's problem is the frequency of it. Even a lot of the stills look bad. That's awful.

Ignoring the often stilted animation, the overall art direction doesn't stand out either. It's not like Yugioh is known for cutting edge stylization, but past series (except for GX I guess) had a certain aesthetic and common visual themes (like the urban grit of early 5D's and DM's Egyptian thing) that made them stand out a little bit more from the rest of the children's anime crowd. Even if you hated it, Zexal's saccharine far future metropolis made the show more distinguishable.

The average anime viewer thinks Seed Destiny was good but even the staff hated it. Despite being one of the best selling anime of all time Sunrise moved away from it because it didn't sell what they wanted it to sell, model kits. It sold CDs and DVDs at a high rate but the model kits shelf warmed so badly that the show was rewritten to make the old cast the stars again.

Yuto chased after him and went to Standard, which started the whole clone business there. Without that Yuya would never have been accused and they would never have to fight the LDS members. He destroyed Sora and forced him to reveal himself, making everyone more aware to the dimensional war. Sora was forcefully recalled and returned to take revenge for his loss which lead to the mini invasion. Also Yugo was lead to Standard since Yuto was now there, which kickstarted a whole other chain of events. I won't even touch on the things that happened in Synchro.

Ok, but I'm sure Reiji would have eventually gotten him involved in something seeing as he knew Yuya had pioneered Pendulum and he knew Yusho so Yuya was naturally a person of interest and he was trying to recruit Lancers.

As far as Sora revealing himself it was inevitable as his intentions from day 1 were to spy on Standard and prepare for an invasion. It probably would have happened after the end of the tournament. He had always planned to beat Shun but unexpectedly lost so it messed up the timing of his plan. Everyone would've been aware of the dimensional war anyways as soon as the MC ended as Reiji and Himika announced the Lancer project.

I guess I can't really say anything about Yugo and Yuto considering we still don't know how they just appear and disappear out of nowhere. But seeing as how Yuya is connected to all of them, he would've eventually come into contact with Yuto with or without Shun.

Deadlyguy can use Shadow Mist as a material, and sets up Malicious, Dasher and could boost a lot if it's any more than 200 per D-HERO.

Red Rising Dragon is a better level 6 than Wyvern, and helps combo into the higher level RDAs.
