That's the problem, when watching Wixoss, Penguindrum or Seraph I would often pause and just admire the backgrounds, and their especially strong point is the way they use colors lighting and perspective in the scenes.
Here the colors were very bright with little variation no particularly fancy angles either.

I think anime ends around chapter 105. Theres currently 130 chapters and its on going. I read it from the start though and don't regret it. The anime misses some things and the Hishiro faces are better in the manga.

That's why I suspect the author isn't aware of it. Hoshiron, as an adult, is the textbook definition of an autistic person yet when she was a child she was shown to be normal. Hierin lies the inconsistency. Being constantly on the move doesn't make you socially awkward like that, autism does. For me, the manga is one of my favorite ongoing series. Anons have the right to be skeptical that it's probably wish fulfillment bullshit, but the writer handles it the right way and manages to balance the characters, humor, and drama well. In most wish fulfillment stuff, the MC is a blank slate to self-insert into, but Arata has been a great MC so far.

The manga is in webtoon format, so it's one long vertical page. If you can get past that you'll enjoy the manga.
