what on earth are you talking about? Short Round? That's Tokugawa. Musashi is just Musashi. Baki Dou is the fourth installment in the Baki series. I know some people have picked it up first on accident, so if that's you also, there you go.

Funny, I was just talking to the main Dou translator the other day about how we shouldn't give Kenjin an English title because it fucks with people's understanding of the series and their order. What you went through is something I like to call "The Wild Fang Experience". Through means of re-titling every installment, they fucked with the Western fanbase's ability to get into the series.
What you're going to be looking for are these, in this order:

I'm gonna go ahead and not answer that one, for your best interest
His name is Retsu, and he is extremely prevalent in the second series. He has some pretty awesome fights in it. He's also relatively prominent in the first series, but we haven't gotten to translate the last arc, which is the only part where he appears. On that note: most people just watch the anime to view the last arc of the first series. It's not particularly important that you do that, as nothing in it lasts beyond its own scope outside of the introduction of half of the main cast, but it's still a good watch if you've the time. The main cast is essentially reintroduced at the beginning of series 2, so it doesn't quite matter that you don't know who they are immediately.

That's Kenjin you're thinking of; it's 6 chapters, and the first one is about Yuuichiro. It doesn't give us much more information to go on about his character, though. The chapter is centered around a Baki-style parody of Rikidouzan vs Masahiko Kimura (with Yuuichiro as Kimura) and the surrounding scandal, so there's not much room for him to grow as a character in it. Hoping we get more Yuuichiro in the future.

What specifically would you like to know? That project has had nigh-incessant drama throughout its existence. It doesn't tend to be their fans or their translators that cause anything; it's their leader - a mentally ill Chilean who picks fights with everyone who attempts to talk to him. Are you talking recent or old, or about their faulty translations, or...?

Here's the story:
The Chilean got freaked out after some people stole fizzy lifting drinks and released New Grappler - and however much of SoO was done - to Slugworth and hence the general public, and went on a tirade about how they broke the contract they signed when they first entered the factory, then 'closed off' the project so that only the most trustworthy (read: paid the most) people were allowed to stay. They've been releasing in private to those same ~10 people or whatever for something like 6-7 years. Now that the Chilean's pocket money is getting scarce, he's decided to re-open the group to the public; primary efforts in recruitment being a smear campaign against any other person releasing Baki material (SpinyBack is the obvious most-targeted 'rival' group), and repeatedly insisting that they're being considerate and oh-so-generous by giving you the opportunity to pay to join their sekrit club.
They've managed to stay under the radar for so long by using fake names and set-up pages to make people forget that they're WFP (priority #1), and to prevent any undesirables from finding them. Their primary means of contact is Facebook, followed by direct emailing. Their Facebook is "Forest of Gubbio". Just Google it; it should be the first result. You'll find some interesting stuff there if you really care.
I just want to make this last point very clear: the quality of their releases has not improved at all. What I'm primarily referring to is their inability to manage the English language. This is a recent page from one of their releases. I get the impression that, even if somebody managed to publicly release the volumes that we the public are missing, nobody would be satisfied due to the lack of comprehensibility (and/or accuracy).
