I think realisitically the best course of action is for Luffy to be incapacitated for a long time after his fight with Kaido / Momma and need his crew to watch over him / bring him to Macguffin Island for healing while the other Yonko whose ass wasn't kicked yet chases after them. If Purin isn't lying then this arc is being flown through which hurts the potential of it. I understand there's a lot going on but it might not even be worth having an arc like this if it has to be gone through so fast and in such a bland way.

Think about it. The amount of islands in Big Mom's territory. The wacky group Luffy has. The myriad of ways the story could progress or be done uniquely.

What are we seemingly getting? They arrive in a town, Luffy wanders off and *immediately* runs into none other than Sanji's bride who gives them the route to Big Mom's place. Just like that. In almost no time, like lunch or a tea break.

Plenty of convenient events happen in One Piece, sure, but that is just ridiculous and a really lame way to just move the plot along at a blistering pace.
