I almost never drop anything. I'm that guy. That being said, Fairy Tail and High School Star Musical or whatever that gay shit was a few seasons ago.

I plan on trying them again someday just because clearing my dropped/on hold list would be faster than my plan to watch and it would feel good, but wow they're bad. With Fairy Tail I couldn't handle all the forced comedy. It really just felt like the worst parts of part 1 Naruto being amplified. The other show just felt too gay, although I watched Super Lovers this season so I might be dead enough inside for it now.

SAO, Hidan no Aria, Noucome and Another are the worst seasonal garbage I've come across. Center column are terrible shorts, with Kowabon being shitty jump scares masking as found foottage horror and Puchi Eva and Nyoron shitting on their franchises, reducing their characters to lifeless husks. Finally, the Chrono Trigger and Turtles OVAs are similar in that regard, though in these cases it's more likely due to stupidity than outright malice.

On the whole, the Turtles OVA is probably the worst of the pack.

there was some show about some generic harem i picked up a while ago where the guy could see flags or some shit and it was pretty boring but okay but then it turned into some kind of shit show with demons and underground caverns and they traveled to some alternate world. No it didn't, unless you count backgrounds and waifus. The mystery was stupid and they cheated with its revelation (showing scenes that didn't exist or happen like that in the series). There were no reasonably presented clues, instead you had to freezeframe class registers at three different points. There are a few off-hand things that could have counted as clues, but only if the previously established rules of the curse somehow didn't apply to in full.

The first two deaths were nice to look at, but then you got bullshit like the heart attack guy, multiple people tripping and falling to their death and all the stuff in the last two episodes that was just ridiculous and stupid.

Mind you that the same guy also directed Mayoiga this season. Mizushima should really stick to his straight-up comedies.

There was a ~1000x1000 picture posted on /a/ back then (can't find it and any archived versions are now dead) where the class registers were the only real clues to link Mikami and Reiko being the same person together and her being in an old class 3-3, without which the rest didn't make any more sense. Then there were the father not being affected by the curse because he was out of country (justified, but why didn't it fuck with the MC's memory instead), grandpa not being affected because he's senile (lolrandumb) and Mikami's friend having partial memories of being at (not explicitly stated to be) her funeral.

And duh, of course it was kinda obvious that the dead one wouldn't be Teshigawara or one of the even lesser characters. But again, the withheld information about Reiko being Mikami makes this cheap. Otherwise, the most likely candidate would have been the MC himself.

It became a bad joke by the episodes with the heart attack guy and the teacher stabbing himself (which I think were the fifth and sixth). The final two episodes at least took it into so bad it's funny territory, but the show never managed to redeem itself.


But if it satisfies you, I only called it one of the worst. I even mentioned that the Turtles OVA really deserves the cake. I also excluded all porn and some of the cheap shots like Mars of Destruction from this, so Another is actually only one of the bottom 30 in terms of ratings. Still a huge disappointment.

I'm not sure if you're just stupid or legitimately trolling me. This has nothing to do with intelligent speech. It's not about the parrot remembering people. And a year and a half is nothing for a parrot.

It's about the parrot repeating phrases it's heard a lot. Specifically the grandparents' mourning, part of which was directed at the parrot. Remember Sagakibara called it stupid for saying "Rei-chan" because Rei is the parrots name. That's where the "doushite, rei-chan!? doushite reicha!?" comes from. One of the grandparents was venting about her death to the parrot. Obviously it wouldn't be erased because it's just sounds not a memory. And the sounds don't contain her name like what happened with the tape.

Not to mention the fact that Reiko complained of headaches and fatigue and Mikami-sensei stayed home, causing Mochizuki to be concerned.

The art club connection is a big hint too. In episode 10 Mei asks if Reiko paints at home. Sagakibara tells her that rather she considers that her real job. The target of the comparison is implicit and hinted.

Plus the grandfather dropped a big hint during episode 6.
