Yeah they seem to recognize good addition for Nazericks. But in the contex of the 8 fingers. They were already completly broken and would do anything to avoid the torture again. But still get treated "fair", Albedo had no problem to rent the skeletons longer.
Or giving the current 8 fingers leaders a prospect of normal buisnessmen working inside of Nazerick.

In 2e there were literally a 'Potion of Longevity' that was ridiculously easy to get (it was even mass-manufactured).

However when 3e and it's descendants rolled around (3.x, Pathfinder) they made a determined effort to eliminate life extending spells, moving the concept of living forever out of the game for tonal reasons. As such any magic for extending life is extremely limited, often restricted to merely counteracting the effects of aging but still having the target die when they reach their 'expiry date'.
