Justified or not is merely an opinion. After the girls heard Kimito's story about his past with Eri, the girls came to understood the reason why she acts out and became more forgiving of Eri's behavior. Readers can do the same and sympathize with her, or be like you who hates it regardless.

She's a tsundere. How can you read this manga without knowing that much? Eri acts strain towards Kimito because of a misunderstanding (ch.52), and that's why she acts tsun to him. Despite of the bullying and hostility since the day she changed, she does care about him and makes up reason to tell herself that she doesn't like like him even though it's obvious that she does. She's upset, but still feels that she owes him for what he did for her when they were little.

Right now Kimito is essentially a prisoner in the school. He does want to leave to return to normal life, but at the same time he doesn't dislike where he is now since he has bonded with the other girls. Eri is trying to figure a solution to get him out of the school. Miyuki wants him to stay and is Eri's foil. If it isn't obvious enough, it could be said the true heroines are Miyuki and Eri. Miyuki has a past with Kimito too and she's the the one who kidnapped Kimoto for a reason. She also have feelings for him despite her cold and abusive attitude towards Kimito.

Haters gonna hate. Meido and Eri are my favorite characters by far. Girls possessing anti-heroine qualities, such as unconventional traits that are dark, but pure and sincere are the type of characters I prefer and think are more interesting to me. Eri fits this criteria. It could be daid she has a rather unique role in a series that would be rather boring if there was no drama and conflict whatsoever, so her existence is one I appreciate all the more.

Kuroe had a lot of trouble interacting with the staff at a convenience store. Noting how surreal the whole scene was, Kimito steps in and helps her. After she finishes up her shopping, the two of them leave the store together.

As they walk back to his house (where Aika is staying due to plot related reasons), the two of them end up at a nearby park. Wondering why they are there, Kuroe tells Kimito that this is where she eats her lunches since she can't be seen eating at the same place as her master. After getting her a drink at a vending machine, Kimito asks Kuroe if he can sit with her while she eats. The resulting conversation raises a few flags with her.

While together, Kimito notices that Kuroe is having trouble unscrewing the cap to her drink. Kimito helps her which leads to a discussion on how Kimito is a very helpful person. Eventually, the conversation turns to Aika. Kuroe tells Kimito that Aika used to be a very depressed girl. She had trouble fitting in which lead to her not making any friends.

Kuroe always regretted the fact that she couldn't do anything for her. Looking at Kimito, she thanks him from the bottom of her heart for everything he did in regards to restoring Aika's smile. Kimito becomes a bit flustered due to her words. He tries to play down his part in helping Aika which leads to Kuroe commenting that Kimito really is a gentle person.

The mood between them changes as Kuroe locks eyes with Kimito. Suddenly, her face becomes red as she notices how embarrassing her words were and how close their faces are. Kimito, as dense as ever, asks her if she is alright. She tells him that everything is fine.

From there on, it's obvious that Kuroe fell for Kimito. While she isn't exactly a main heroine, she still does share a few scenes with him in the later volumes.
