As someone who works in a store with this shit, do not allow anyone to ever send a figure by it. The box will be dropped and thrown constantly, there is absolutely no care given to how fragile it may be and it's very common for boxes to be damaged to the extent that there's gaping holes in the box. The drivers just do not give a fuck and will toss the boxes out of their van onto the road and then throw them several meters onto a trolley. These packages then sit behind a counter and will constantly be kicked and pushed over since there is no room for them.

Just paint with your wrist or elbow anchored against something, then shaking becomes a non-issue. As long as you use a tiny paintbrush you'll be fine. It's in the middle of a plain black strap. It'd be pretty hard to fuck up.

Would you buy a scale figure with a painfully obvious sponsorship gimmick/advertising tie-in?

Of course the figure would have to be cheaper than comparable figures because part of it is ad-space (like 7.5k yen for a 12k yen scale) AND the figure would have to be exceptionally well made (prototype is great, paintjob is solid, and no remarkable differences between the prototype and final product).

Would you go for it? I saw a Glico Pocky ad with Miku and wondered if it would make a good figure. That then led to the question "would people buy an ad fig if it was good or reject it on principal?"
