The dark continent has a low amount of rukh from what I recall from the Hainbaba/Judar adventures. Judar became weak because he had never trained the magoi within his body (like a regular magician). Yunan probably mainly relied on the magoi in his body during the fight.

I'd say chapter 250 as a whole. The way Judal goes all protective of Hakuryuu "I know him best you geezers don't you fuck with him there's no way he's sad because he killed his mother". The edge pledge and the way Judal is shot in a dutch angle just before Hakuryu goes "I will kill Kouen", it looks like he's literally swept off his feet, and the way he looks turned on afterwards. I wish I remembered the exact moment but I know I was already pretty much on board when Judar was protecting Haku while he got weakened by Phenex.

I actually never expected their relationship to go as far as I did. It seemed pretty obvious that Haku's edge would be healed and then he'd dump Judar like a bad habit. Glad I was wrong.

It was during the edge arc for sure.
I didn't particularly paid attention to them, although the hints have been there since chapter 25 (kinda)

It became more obvious later on especially after Hakuryuu got Zagan but I would have never imagined I would like them as a pairing till edge happened.

I think at first what attracted me was how these two had this past connected to Arba and how much it fucked them up both in their own way. Then you have Judar paying so much attention to Hakuryuu and wanting him by his side, not to mention calling him "my King" so fast. It was obvious till the end, that Judar cared a lot and I still believe he won't really mind Hakuryuu's white rukh but you never know.
From Hakuryuu's side at first I thought he only wanted to use Judar's power and I'm sure that was the case till they start spending time to get better with their new powers and Judar understanding his hate in many ways.
