Part 8's protagonist is an imperfect fusion of two gay men and a dog. He has four balls, split tongues, split eyes, cute gap teeth, and multicolored skin, and his stand is ungodly OP. And he has the same name as part 4's protag.

He fights a bunch of rocks disguised as human beings who are giving us fruit that can cure something, but give you something just as bad in exchange. That's like getting rid of your terminal brain cancer and having it replaced with a degenerative disease.

They're trying to get the Higashikata family, a group of weirdos, to eat it because they have a family curse that turns them into origami. But this is very bad.

The Higashikatas are an old man with ball hair, A blind girl who tries to rape Gappy and eat his memories, a dick with another OP stand, a hot girl who can make her heels grow, a corrupt corporate executive, and a crossdressing five year old who tries to assault our brojo with his stand.

Our villains include a man with no fingers because he ate them, a man with no dick, two twins who no one gives a shit about, a street, and a suspiciously evil fat man.

And our brojo's dress makes it so she can't sit down properly.

How is that boring?

The end of the RHCP arc in the manga was the 49th chapter out of a total of 174 chapters, meaning that it was approximately 28% of the way through DiU. The RHCP arc in the anime adaptation will end at episode 12 out of a total of 39 episodes, meaning that it will be approximately 31% of the way through DiU.

There is absolutely no need for a 4th cour, and in fact, including it will make it seem like it drags on too long like what happened with SC, and I don't want that to happen to my favorite part.

Man, when I started watching JoJo I had no idea what it was, how big it was, or even that it had parts taking place after Phantom Blood. I fell in love basically immediately, thinking it was some kind of hot blooded 1800s murder mystery thing. Like a crazy anime adaptation of Clue.

I'm not all caught up on the manga, and absolutely obsessed with everything JoJo. It's crazy to look back and think about how little I knew what I was getting into.

My friends had been urging me to get ito Jojo for a while, and I'm pretty slow into picking up a new series, but once I got to the JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJO! part, I knew I was in for something great.

And I know this is getting ahead of things, but the end of Part 7 is probably one of the most exciting anthology call-backs I had ever seen. I don't know if to call it genius, or if it's just because how Jojo is written, it'd only work for a series like this.

What were you speculations that were wrong when you first read Jojo.

I really thought Dio would kill Jonathan much later. I expected Jonathan to get some married life with Erina and then tragic death. I knew part 2 would be the grandson in America with his own adventures. so I thought Jonathan and Erina move to America years later Dio returns, jojo and dio both die. I also knew Dio returns in part 3 but wasn't clear how since I tried to avoid major spoilers then.

I still believe this is canon. I don't care that it demonstrably did not happen at any point in DiU, but to me, Bites the Dust momentarily flung Josuke into his own past, and no amount of official canon will convince me that isn't what happened.

The budget is a lot lower for Part 4 than it was for Part 3. It's not as low as the first season, but it's clearly a lot lower. They're doing a decent job of masking it with clever effects and transitions, but it's pretty obvious.

No fancy outsourced CGI OP, much simpler style with the shading only coming in during dramatic moments, and no lavish scenes like the Part 3 anime was full of where the camera whips around the characters and mimics 3D movement.

It was to be expected, Part 4 is just not as popular in Japan.

It's why I said arguably and not definitely, Joseph is certainly a precious treasure and I'd argue Gappy is pretty unique too.

But Jolyne has a lot to her her that makes her unique. She has a resentment to her father, the notorious autist that we already know very well. She paints the most iconic hero in all of JoJo as a really shitty person. She had a love interest at the beginning of the part that betrayed her, instead of the Jonathan/Joseph brand of love interest that just acts like a reward at the end.

It's the little things about Jolyne that really made her have an impression on me. Like when Romeo reveals that he's actually remorseful for what he's done, and how he genuinely wants to help after so horribly betraying his girlfriend. And then she rips his tongue in half anyways, completely casually. There's another scene when appraching the Kennedy Space Center when she just strolls past three survivors screaming for help.

Partly because of the body horror focus of Stone Ocean, Jolyne is a lot filthier than previous JoJos. JoJos are always badasses with a heart of gold, even Jotaro. Jolyne is rougher than that, she has her goal and nothing else matters besides accomplishing it.

The scale in Part 4 is deliberately smaller and it's part of why people like it. Morioh is Josuke's home, and Kira is a serial killer making that home a dangerous place. So it was up to our heroes to, in between trying to Jew money out of people, find and stop the killer.

I highly doubt it's flashback man since Araki hasn't shown or mentioned him at all since Chapter 5 which was 5 years ago and if he was going to be the main villain he would definitely have been revealed by now or at least appeared in more than 3 panels or been mentioned by SOMEONE. Plus the flashback would have been perfect to introduce him in but it didn't happen, not even a tease. Jobin is a pretty good bet though and I'd like if either he or Damo were the main villains though I doubt Damo is the main villain. He seems more like a secondary antagonist who actually gets involved with the story and isn't just the villain's right hand man like Vanilla Ice or Kira's dad etc.

There's also this, which is followed by Tsurugi claiming his dad is innocent and a bigger kind than he is. If this isn't heavy handed foreshadowing then I don't know what is.

The volume release where we found out Speed King's name also heavily implied that it has a secret to it's power that we don't know yet. It'll be more than just raising the temperature a little. Plus we only saw it's upper body without forearms, and Araki is always changing Stand designs. There's a number of differences between Love Love Deluxe from one chapter to the next like some features being flipped on it's face and stuff. Soft & Wet looks fairly different from it's first appearance too, it's proportions are almost completely different. And if Speed King actually does have a Leatherman vibe going on like in pic related then I think it'll look cool as fuck.
