In /a/'s lifetime there was only one season of Lupin airing, and even that one was screwed by airing schedule's being fucked up by Crunchyroll.

So no there is no rule to thread activity. Depends on posters, sometimes we go in high hundreds.

Watched Island of Assassins the other day and thought it was really good, although the ending was a bit abrupt. Are we meant to assume that an antidote was found for Lupin using the poison samples they brought back with them? Also which movies/specials would people most recommend considering I've already seen Cagliostro/Fuma Clan/First Contact/Mamo?

Also Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone, though I guess you should watch that one after Fujiko Mine series.

I'd say away from Legend of Gold of Babylon.
