Yumeka Sumomo manga usually deal with trauma and/or depressive episodes, and I think she conveys the feeling pretty well without delving too deep into it.

Himizu's MC is another example. Also Orange (which has an anime coming up next season) for a more shoujo take on (overcoming) depression.
