We know nen can preserve bodies. Morel can go without oxygen for an hour. Netero could fight beyond his prime due to his nen delaying aging.

It's not like Hisoka's resolution was outlandish. He simply used his last nen resort to manipulate the rubber/elastic quality of his aura and give himself cpr while restarting his heart and lungs after a delay. It's why he specifically went for suffocation as his cause of death.

He didn't specifically set his nen to rampage like fucking pitou did after her corspe was mangled and dead.

Anybody feel like this page was the best part of the chapter, and actually one of Togashi's best pages in the entire series?

It was so sudden, and terrifying as well. Here was a guy Shalnark saw was fucking dead, walking out of the bathroom his beloved teammate was in. It's amazing that Togashi makes you feel actual sympathy for these mass murdering criminals, and genuinely made you fear Hisoka, a character who hasn't been feared all the way since the hunter exam.

The biggest problem I have with this is that you never know what exactly the limits of their superpowers are. We know they are far beyond human abilities in many ways, so it's hard to know exactly what they're capable of.

He did no such thing. He worked really hard to do the exact opposite: show (once again) that nen battles are never so black and white. This isn't Dragonball. There aren't characters that are stronger than others and are gonna win 100% of the times against them. Nen battles depend on a variety of circumstances.

What Togashi showed is that in that particular arena, surrounded with hundreds of people that he could turn into puppets and other 2-3 powers that are really compatible with those, Chrollo could beat Hisoka.
